 Four colors of marble grace guestrooms: Floors are creamy marble, bathrooms are tan marble with pink marble vanities, coffee/tea makers rest on pink marble shelves, and each room is furnished with a green marble desk. Luxuries include makeup mirrors and bathrobes. Ceiling fans and air conditioning offer cooling options. Each room has a shallow balcony furnished with two chairs and a low table. Rooms are only available in the in the European Plan, which includes room accommodations only. Rooms provide one king bed or two double beds, and accommodate a maximum of four guests. Standard Room - The balconies of these rooms provide street views and, at night, overlook the bright lights heralding Cancún's lively nightlife. Deluxe Ocean View Room - These rooms face the Caribbean, providing sweeping sea views from their balconies. Regency Club Room - Located on the top three floors of the 16-story hotel, these rooms offer the best sea views. Regency Club rooms include two telephones and slippers as well as bathrobes. Regency Club guests have their own concierge and check-in/check-out services in a top-floor lounge. In the mornings, a complimentary deluxe Continental breakfast buffet is served in the lounge. In the evenings there's a two-hour complimentary cocktail period that includes appetizers. Nibbles and soft drinks are available all day. The lounge contains a television, tables and chairs, a couch, and a lending library.

What to expect: Although the resort is located near the heart of Cancún Island's day-and-night activity, guests also come here for the bliss provided by the long oceanfront sunning-and-relaxing terrace with soothing Caribbean Sea views. Amenity highlights: Built on a 20-foot-high bluff on Punta Cancún's lip, the resort has a rocky shore that offers snorkeling opportunities but no beach. (White-sand beaches, however, are located within 50 yards on both sides of the resort.)
